The 427 Hillhead Exhibition, the world’s biggest working quarry show, has created its own channel on YouTube to host not only official video footage commissioned by the organisers, but also the growing number of video clips posted by exhibitors and visitors.

At launch, the Hillhead channel provides access to all the official videos which form a visual record of each event. All aspects of the show are covered, including footage of the blasts which have taken place in the main quarry face demonstration area before the last two shows.

Currently, around 60 other Hillhead videos can also be found on YouTube covering a diverse collection of activities such as plant demonstrations, individual stands/products, general views of the show, heavy haulage and even helicopter landings.

As the organisers would like to both build up and broaden the content of the videos on the Hillhead channel, the best exhibitor/visitor video clips submitted to the organisers will be hosted alongside the official content. The Hillhead channel can be found at: www.youtube.com/hillheadshow.

The next event, Hillhead 2014, will take place at Hillhead Quarry, Buxton, England, from 24–26 June.
