Terex Cranes names new Indonesian distributor

5771 Terex Cranes has named PT Berlian Cranserco as an authorised crane distributor for Indonesia. The company will deliver local equipment sales, service and parts support throughout Indonesia for Terex crane models with lifting capacities of 9-3,200 tonnes. Based in Balikpapan, on the east coast of Borneo, PT Berlian Cranserco will offer all terrain, rough terrain, truck mount, pick and carry, lattice boom crawler cranes and Reach Stacker products.

“Cranserco is a highly experienced company with a long track record for excellent customer service,” said Ken Lousberg, president of Terex China.

Terex China has unveiled the Terex Toplift 036G truck crane, which is built in Luzhou. The 36tonne class crane features a five-section boom with a 38m fully extended length. This offers a 51m maximum tip height, which can be increased with the use of a 14m swing-away jib.

The spacious cab is based on the same design found on Terex cranes elsewhere in the world, offering adjustable suspension seating, ergonomic controls and air conditioning.

“This new crane incorporates design elements based on extensive customer and dealer feedback,” said Mr Lousberg. “They blend Chang Jiang’s legacy for strength and lift performance with the latest Terex innovations.”
