Greece’s Titan Cement revenues rise yet higher losses in Q1 2013

In the first quarter of 2013, Titan Cement of Greece posted a 19% rise in its revenues, to €51 million in comparison with the corresponding period in 2012. Titan also posted an EBITDA loss of €2 million from €12 million profits as well as a net loss of €17 million from €0.2 million profits. At group level, its revenues rose by 8%, to €243 million while its EBITDA dropped by 29%, to €24 million compared with the same period last year.

In the first quarter of 2013, 719 Titan Cement of Greece posted a 19% rise in its revenues, to €51 million in comparison with the corresponding period in 2012.

Titan also posted an EBITDA loss of €2 million from €12 million profits as well as a net loss of €17 million from €0.2 million profits.

At group level, its revenues rose by 8%, to €243 million while its EBITDA dropped by 29%, to €24 million compared with the same period last year.
