411 Doosan Construction Equipment has announced a new £2 million(€2.34 million)  order from Lynch Plant Hire.

Secured by County Berkshire,England-based Promac Solutions, the authorised Doosan dealer for south-east England, a major part of order comprises the new Doosan DX300LC-3, DX340LC-3 and DX380LC-3 Stage IIIB compliant large crawler excavators from 30 to 38 tonne, as well as smaller crawler and wheeled excavators including the new DX140LC-3 and DX160LC-3 Stage IIIB compliant crawler excavators recently launched by Doosan in the UK.

Merrill Lynch, operations director at Lynch, said: “Our company mission is Meeting Hire Demands and with this latest order from Doosan, we are focusing on new requirements laid down by our customers for Stage IIIB machines for projects such as Crossrail [London] and the legacy works after the 2012 Olympics, which will form the bulk of over £12 million (€14 million) of purchases in the next 12 months to meet this need.

“All the new machines are supplied to the exacting Lynch demolition and utility specification, offering safety features such as automatic dual-locking quick hitches, audible reverse alarms, reversing cameras and demolition cages as standard, at the same time as exceeding the high performance, fuel efficiency and reliability standards required by our customers.”

The latest order being supplied by Promac follows hard on the heels of over £4 million (€4.7 million) worth of Doosan crawler and wheeled excavators supplied by the company over the last two years.

In order to extend the Lynch health and safety ethos onto every site, a range of extras are available, such as safe-load indicators and height restrictors.

The same commitment to health and safety can be seen in the extra training that

Lynch personnel undergo extra training, covering environmental and site-specific inductions as well as that for sector-specific training cards, for example National Grid, Rail and Thames Water).  This is supported by accreditations to the Building Confidence Scheme (Achilles); FORS (Transport for London); 14001 (Environmental ISO), Constructing Better Health and other important schemes.
