Felipe Fernández-Urrutia Massó, Europe major accounts director at IronPlanet said: “Jethran has over 18 years’ experience working in the international used equipment industry, especially throughout Benelux, making him a perfect fit to grow IronPlanet’s business in this region. We are thrilled to have him on board, and I am sure his extensive skillset will be a great asset to IronPlanet’s strategic vision of continued growth in EMEA’s markets.”
He joins IronPlanet from Prima Equipment, the earthmoving and construction equipment export company, where he began as sales and marketing manager and later general sales manager. Prior to this, he worked at the Emeco Group, EMV International and Exact Software.
In his new role as Benelux country manager, he will be responsible for the trade of IronPlanet stock throughout this region, as well as the consignment of equipment out of Benelux and onto IronPlanet’s online Marketplace.
“I am very excited to be joining a company as innovative and dynamic as IronPlanet. On the back of its business model, IronPlanet has expanded rapidly and since 2000 it has sold over US$3 billion of used equipment, and this figure continues to rise. I look forward to working with the team to grow IronPlanet’s network of buyers and sellers in Benelux,” said Roeten.
