Lafarge sells its cement operations in Honduras

Lafarge has sold its cement operations in Honduras to Cementos Argos for a total enterprise value of €435 million (€232 million for the share of Lafarge, which owns 53.3% of its Honduran subsidiary, Lafarge Cementos SA de CV) This enterprise value represents a 2012 EBITDA multiple of 8.6. Sold assets comprise an integrated cement plant with a capacity of 1 million tonnes and a grinding station with a 0.3 million tonnes capacity. This transaction is subject to relevant regulatory approvals.
