In Spain Adif awards contracts for ballast supply for AVE

Spanish railway infrastructure administrator, Adif, has awarded contracts for the supply and transport of ballast destined for the maintenance of high speed (AVE) railway lines between 2013 and 2014, for €5 million. The contract was split into various lots, with the total supply coming to 238,000tonnes.

Spanish railway infrastructure administrator, 3780 ADIF, has awarded contracts for the supply and transport of ballast destined for the maintenance of high speed (AVE) railway lines between 2013 and 2014, for €5 million.

The contract was split into various lots, with the total supply coming to 238,000tonnes.

Benito Arno e Hijos has secured eight lots for €3.1 million totalling 156,000tonnes, while Porfidos Internacionales de Alhama with Porfidos Mediterraneo have secured supply for 48,000tonnes worth more than €1.27 million. Aridos y Recuperaciones has been given a €231,000 contract for the supply of 12,000tonnes and Ofitas de Cerro Sillado has a €419,587 contract for 16,000tonnes. Cycasa Canteras y Construcciones will supply 6,000tonnes for €99,653.
