Shareholders 5655 Messe München (MMG) and the 6184 Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) have appointed Igor Palka as the new CEO at bC Expo India taking over from Thomas Löffler, who in November 2013 begins his new role as an additional deputy CEO at MMI Shanghai, a subsidiary of the Messe München Group.
“Following two events held in Mumbai, 7143 bC India has now established itself on the market,” says Palka. "With the new venue in Greater Noida near Delhi and the shift in dates to December 2014, bC India will be expanding further. I am very much looking forward to continuing the success story of this event."
Palka worked for Messe München before, when he was still a student, and he has remained close to the company ever since. After training as an event manager and, in parallel, taking a degree in business management, he took over responsibility in 2011 for a large proportion of the exhibitors at the construction machinery show bauma. In addition, Palka represented the trade fair company worldwide at presentations and negotiations with associations.
