Italian construction equipment and machinery company 7490 CIFA, which focuses on offering a complete range of products in the concrete business, has celebrated its 85th birthday at its headquarters at Senago.

The ceremony was held in the presence of all the company’s senior management including the CEO of CIFA Davide Cipolla and the president of Zoomlion Zhan Chunxin.

It included the presentation of a historical museum and a book entitled The winning anomaly, which summarises the entrepreneurial adventure of CIFA. Also officially presented were the new centre of research and development (the European Testing Centre) and the Centre for Design and Field Trials.

The Winning Anomaly, which includes many photographs, describes the many stages and events CIFA has lived through over the years, from the American seed, germinated by the company’s founder Carlo Ausenda from 1928, to the Chinese century, which dawned with its acquisition by Zoomlion.

The book, published by Tecniche Nuove in both Italian and English, can be ordered from bookshops and on the website, price €29.90.
