429 Hyundai Heavy Industries’ HL757-9A new wheeled loader has a 15tonne operating weight and standard shovel volume of 2.7m³.

The machine will be offered in three versions: the HL757-9A standard with 2.84m dumping height and a reach of 1.61m; HL757XTD-9A high reach version with 3.23m dumping height and reach of 1.97m (additional counterweight 840kg); and the HL757TM-9A (ToolMaster) with parallel mast. It has a tipping height 2.84m and a reach of 1.815m. The mast can be combined with various hydraulic quick-couplers.

“The wheeled loader can be found in civil engineering; in demanding loading applications and also in industry with a variety of attachments,” says HHI.

“Therefore, Hyundai Heavy Industries’ designed the new wheeled loader range for a large variety of jobs.”

A Tier 4 Interim/EU Stage IIIB 410 Cummins QSB6.7 six-cylinder engine delivering 149kW powers the Korean-made loader, which has a maximum torque of 932Nm at 1,400rpm to minimise fuel consumption.

The company says the five-speed powershift transmission with torque converter lockup starting at second gear also helps to minimise fuel consumption.

“Standard on all HHI wheeled loaders are various modes of operation. With three engine settings (power, standard, economy), four-gear shifting programs and three torque converter modes the HL757-9A adapts perfectly to the respective application profile.”

The cabin of the new HL757-9A features 17% more tinted safety glass compared to the previous generation, and the steering column is adjustable in height and tilt for comfort.
