Associated Construction Company (ASCO), Kuwait has bought a M2500 mobile sand washing plant from
The plant is required as a result of the increasing demand for the quality washed sand produced by ASCO and supplied to many local ready-mix concrete companies and construction projects currently underway in Kuwait.
It is the rst M2500 to be supplied to the Gulf region and the purchase was agreed following a visit to see a similar plant in operation in south Beirut, Lebanon, by Khaled Nasr, deputy manager of the sand washing and infra works in ASCO. “This addition to our processing capability will ensure that the sand products we offer are of the highest quality available in Kuwait,” says Mr Nasr.
“The M2500 will be an important introduction to The Gulf region delivering enhanced product quality and operational ef ciencies,” says Iain Walker, CDE technical sales Manager for Kuwait.
The upgrade to the ASCO sand washing operation also includes the supply of Aquacycle thickener to allow for up to 90% of the water used in the sand washing process to be recycled.
Although this is the rst project in the Gulf region for the M2500 it has been speci ed across a number of other territories including Europe, Latin America, Russia, India and Australasia.
