Turkey’s Temmer Mermer and a Chinese company to open a marble quarry

Turkish marble company Temmer Mermer has become partners with an un-named Chinese company and will open a marble quarry near Kutahya or Konya in Turkey. Between TRY 3 million (€1.02 million) and TRY 4 million is expected to be invested for the project and Chinese marble investors have invested TRY 240 million in Turkey so far. Turkey's marble exports are worth US$ 2.15 billion (€1.56 billion) and Temmer Mermer's turnover was TRY 60 million in 2013.
