The telescoping EZExtenz Concrete Chute has made its North American debut at
The hydraulic 9.14m chute swings 180° and suits standard rear discharge models. At the show it was mounted on a Mack Granite-bearing McNeilus 9.6m mixer.
Developed in Sweden by equipment manufacturer
Månsarp Svets & Maskin cites the productivity and safety benefits EZExtenz offers over conventional mixer truck chutes, from minimising the need to move trucks to multiple site points, and faster manoeuvring to precise concrete discharge points.
The chute requires normal rinsing after each load; form oil application two to five times per day; and, power washing after the last delivery of the day.
The 703kg EZExtenz package includes cylinders on the mixer pedestal, with the retracted chute swivelling into a travel position diagonally along the right side of the mixer drum.
The telescoping chute is an alternative to truck-mounted conveyor belts and boom pumps and has been tested in Sweden, Belgium, Ireland and other European markets with ready-mixed truck fleets at
