Northern Ireland-based Powerscreen has announced that it has appointed Anboni as its new dealer for the sale of its mobile crushing, screening and washing equipment in Sweden. Anboni was established in 2003 and has specialised in the sale of concrete batching plants but will now build on this by offering Powerscreen's products.

BedRock Software has completed an upgrade of its AggFlow program to include data for Terex Finlay's track mounted crushing and screening equipment. "The addition of Terex Finlay mobile equipment to AggFlow, along with our recent expansion in the wash and water simulation capabilities of the program, are important steps for the benefit of our customers and the industry globally," said BedRock managing partner Robert Teller

Sandvik has announced the launch of a new screening solution which it has said is designed to offer high levels of productivity and accuracy. Sandvik debuted a prototype of the QA331 screen at Hillhead last year but the machine has been field tested and is now commercially available.

CDE has announced the launch of the RX80 RotoMax Logwasher as a follow-up of the RX150 model that was unveiled in September 2010. The new 80tonne per hour capacity model is aimed at the construction and mining markets but can also be used to process sand and gravel, crushed rock, construction and demolition waste material as well as a range of mineral ores.

Quarry efficiency and productivity was keenly in the spotlight at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG event in Las Vegas in March with a large number of new machines aimed at improving aggregate operations unveiled. While many of the products had already been seen in Europe and were unveiled at Conexpo as new to the US, there were still some major innovations on display for the first time. Rockmore and Furukawa displayed new down the hole drilling solutions and Atlas Copco allowed visitors to try out its new drill training
