Smiley Monroe, the Lisburn, Northern Ireland-based producer of endless conveyor belts and custom rubber parts for the materials processing equipment manufacturing sector, has made a video showcasing how it has prepared its HQ site to comply with UK government COVID-19 social distancing at work guidelines before its recent reopening.

The video has featured on UTV, formerly Ulster Television, in a piece on how businesses in Northern Ireland have been adapting and implementing comprehensive safety measures to keep the workplace and returning employees safe.

Posting on LinkedIn social media, a company spokesperson said: "We're always happy to get involved in positively promoting manufacturing, and we're proud to be part of the supply chain for priority business sectors like quarrying, mining, construction and waste that need to continue to operate during the COVID-19 crisis."
