Cemex has once again achieved FORS gold standard accreditation
643 Cemex’s fleet of over 300 cement tankers and aggregate tippers have achieved the gold standard in FORS (the Freight Operators Recognition Scheme). The voluntary scheme introduced by TfL (Transport for London) promotes best practice in safety, efficiency and environmental protection through the supply chain.
Cemex is no stranger to FORS gold standard accreditation – having become one of only 10 out of 2,000 members first awarded it in 2013.
The fleet of independent haulier contractors who transport ready-mixed concrete on behalf of Cemex is also working to achieve FORS accreditation, with over half of the contractors throughout the UK achieving accreditation to date.
As well as having achieved gold standard, Cemex is a FORS champion helping to set and improve standards across the UK industry.
