Don McGovern is stepping down from the CRH board after six years

Don McGovern is to step down from the board at 723 CRH, having completed two three-year terms as a director of the Irish global building materials company.

He will depart from the board at the conclusion of the CRH annual general meeting on 25 April.

CRH chairman Nicky Hartery said: "On behalf of the board I would like to thank Don for his commitment to CRH over his six years on the board, and in particular for his service as senior independent director and as chairman of the remuneration committee. We wish him every success in the future."
