RSSCupastone, the subsidiary of 4529 Cupa Group, which is among the world leaders in natural slate, and an expert in natural stone in Europe, has a new 3,300m² logistics platform at the Cheviré platform at the port of Nantes-Saint Nazaire, France.

Cupastone is optimising its logistics in France, where the group has 14 agencies. The platform is strategically located in order to be close to its main agency in Thouaré-sur-Loire.

Until now, each agency had carried out its own supply of provisions.

Initially, Cupastone expects to receive around 700 containers at the site, with an eventual objective of 1,000.

The company has said that it would be ideal to receive the containers directly in Cheviré, and to achieve this it would need to set up a feeder line between Montoir and Nantes, a possibility that it would be open to.

Cupastone distributes natural stone for the inside and outside of buildings, as well as for urban areas, and it operates quarries, including one in Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche (Haute-Vienne), and imports stone from Spain, India, Brazil and China.
