Peckham says the website allows community members, customers and public officials to learn more about its approach to quarry operations, safety, conservation and continuous improvement.

Peckham acquired the Dutchess Quarry in 2012 and improved operations by updating equipment and streamlining processes.

At the quarry, Peckham mines dolomite rock and produces aggregate (crushed rock of various sizes) to pave roads, rebuild bridges, halting erosion, strengthening ready-mix concrete and general building construction.
