Buoyed by the growing demand of aggregates from upcoming road sector and cement plants’ expansion projects, Indian and foreign crushing and screening manufacturers have been introducing a range of new products.
The Powerscreen Chieftain 1700, Chieftain 1400 and Chieftain 2100 2-3 deck screens are further new Hosur plant-made products from Terex India.
Terex India has also introduced a Terex MPS (Minerals Processing Systems) 200-400tonnes/hour modular crushing and screening plant range. The 200 and 300tonnes/hour plants are manufactured at Terex India’s Hosur plant, with the 400tonnes/hour imported by the subsidiary.
All three new to India Terex MPS plant models are primarily meant for gravel production within quarry operations. Working on electricity either via main power or through captive generator set, the plants can be suitable for smaller mineral processing customers.
Fitted with onboard electrics, the Terex MPS 200tonnes/hour plant range includes an MPJ 1175 jaw crusher, MTC 1000 cone crusher, an MPV 2000 vertical shaft impactor (VSI), and MPS 5184 4-deck screen. The 300tonnes/hour plant models feature an MPJ 1175 jaw crusher, MTC 1300 cone crusher, an MPV 2000 VSI, and an MPS 6204 4-deck inclined screen, Finally, the 400tonnes/hour plant consists of a MJ47 jaw crusher, an MC 450 cone crusher, an MPV 2000 VSI, and an MHS 6203 3-deck horizontal screen. Based on customer requirements, the plant range is offered in either jaw-cone, jaw-cone-screen, or jaw-cone-vsi configuration.
Terex MPS modular plants can be shipped in standard 20ft and 40ft open top containers. The plants comes with fully wide walkways for ease of operation and maintenance.
Making its debut in the Indian manufactured sand market,
Both the FM 60 and TM 150 models can handle applications related to all forms of concrete, mortar and asphalt sands. They can also be used for applications related to quarry dust or crushed fines, lake and beach sands, slag, golf course sands, filter bed sands, fly ash and others.
The T150 has a mobile bucket wheel dewatering solution complete with fines retention screw. It can wash plaster sand (fine sand) and mortar sand (coarse sand) simultaneously.
Featuring a heavy-duty steel construction, the FM 60 C produces both fine and coarse sand. The plant comes with a static sand recovery unit; single chassis, centrifugal slurry pump and an 8x4 dewatering screen.
To enable the cone crushers to deliver multiple processed materials, south India-based crushing and screening manufacturer Propel has introduced its new Sand Master cone crushers, to produce both aggregates and crushed sand via a change of gap in the mantle’s concave.
Mr. V. Senthil Kumar, Propel India’s managing director, said: “The new Sand Master cone crushers will contribute in a major way towards plant optimisation and flexibility of operation for large and single plant owners. The plant will also contribute towards attainment of higher margins. This is owing to its ability to deliver crushed aggregates with better cubical character, comparable with aggregate crushed by vertical shaft impactors.
“Better cubical index is much now in demand in the ready-mixed concrete industry in India. It adds strength to the concrete along with curtailing down consumption of cement and bitumen by almost ten per cent.”
Ashok Taru Chattopadhya, vice president - Crushing & Screening, Sandvik India, said: “The new medium capacity cone crusher is an addition to our earlier-launched CH550 cone crusher introduced in India during 2014. The new product comes with robust design and offers higher productivity.”
The new 110 Z EVO model is said to operate with greater reduction ratios between 0-75mm – negating the need for secondary crushing as well as screening when used as a single stage machine, leading to higher cost savings.
Eastern India-based crushing and screening manufacturer Torsa Machines has launched its indigenously manufactured, 200tonnes/hour crushing and screening plant. The Torsa jaw-cone crusher elements of the plant are available in stationery and skid mounted variants.
Gopi Krishna More, managing director of Torsa Machines, said: “The specially designed scalp screen below the grizzly makes it possible to separate 0-20/60mm material which can directly be used for GSB. As a result, it greatly reduces the cost of production and also saves time as the entire process of GSB screening can be omitted.”
More added: “Our new and improved jaw crusher design is user friendly and is easy to maintain. The enhanced width of the jaw can now accommodate boulders up to 650mm with minor onsite adjustments in the CSS. The increased gap can now accommodate feed up to 180mm.”
Appropriate product support, such as erection of the plant to commissioning and parts support, is said by Torsa Machines to be available via various service packages offered by its equipment dealers. RSS
