SRC Aggregates has bought a 6484 Rubble Master RM100GO! crusher from 8732 Red Knight 6.

The family-owned business is one the largest aggregate, topsoil and concrete producers, owning multiple quarries in and around county Essex, England.

Based at Highwood Quarry near Stansted Airport, SRC supplies a diverse range of materials and services for construction, building and large-scale civil projects across the UK.

Dan Flack, RK6 director of sales, had been in discussions with SRC about adding an RM impact crusher to the SRC range.

After a week-long hire of the RM impactor, RK6 monitored the machine to supply a full report on production and wear factor on washed flint stone that had to be crushed down to create smaller aggregate sizes.

The trials proved successful for SRC, which said: “The machine fits well into our business plan going forward due to its versatility to crush numerous materials and to whatever finished size we require.”

Red Knight 6 supplies the quarry and recycling industries with the sales, service, spare parts and hire of crushing, screening and recycling equipment.
