Customer service focus as new recruits join Oscrete UK

Two customer service professionals have joined the Oscrete UK construction team.

Sarah McCoy and Simon Clarke have joined the specialist construction chemical supplier adding to the company's growing team of construction experts.

Focussing on creating a dynamic and responsive service, Sarah and Simon will dedicate their time to developing customer relationships and utilising their supply chain knowledge to support the customer experience.

Customer Service Administrator Sarah, who has more than a decade of customer services expertise, said: "In Oscrete's fast-paced construction environment, it's my mission to treat every customer as if they're our only customer and make sure we listen to their needs and draw on the whole team's considerable expertise to get the right results.

"Transparency, honesty and trust are vital for supporting our customers and making sure they are aware of our process, progress and work to deliver on orders and requests."

Simon, who joins Oscrete after a varied career including customer service, freight account management and teaching, added: "Joining Oscrete's customer service department provides a great opportunity for me to deploy all of my knowledge of logistics, supply chain and utilise my management skills to support with redesigning and adapting some of the processes. Digitisation is key to a smooth customer journey, so we're working on bringing in updated ordering processes to help all customers and speed up transactions."

Oscrete is one of the UK's leading specialist construction chemical suppliers, manufacturing a comprehensive range of concrete admixtures for the pre-cast and ready-mix market and developing and supplying additives for the manufacture of dry bagged mortars and adhesives.

Oscrete Director Scott Wilson added: "This has been a transformative year for Oscrete. Since announcing our independence in January, we have expanded our laboratory, recruited new concrete technicians and focused on sustainability and NPD with the creation of a New Product Development and Sustainability Manager role."
