Epiroc, a major global market manufacturer of drill rigs and hydraulic breakers for the quarrying and mining industries, has appointed Jodie Velasquez President of the Parts & Services Asia Pacific (APAC) division and member of Group Management, effective immediately.

Epiroc is introducing the SmartROC T30 R, a powerful surface radio remote drill rig built on the same flagship platform as the new  SmartROC T25 R. The construction and quarrying rig is equipped with the Epiroc Rig Control System (RCS), which enables the highest technology and automation level within the segment. Automated features, together with 19 kW drilling power, an excellent coverage area, and brilliant terrainability, make the T30 R the perfect companion, providing the operator with more drilled meters per shift.    

Epiroc, a major global marker manufacturer of drill rigs and hydraulic breakers for the quarrying and mining industries, has reported a 2% increase in revenue to SEK14,143m (€1,218.26m) for the first quarter of 2024, compared with SEK13,868m (€1,194.58m) in Q1 2023.

Epiroc has delivered the inaugural HB 10000 hydraulic breaker to Croatia. This groundbreaking addition marks a significant milestone in Croatian quarry operations, as Beton Tomišić in Gradišće becomes the recipient of the largest serial-produced hydraulic breaker in the country.

Epiroc, a Sweden-headquartered major global market manufacturer of drill rigs and hydraulic breakers for the quarrying and mining industries, has completed the acquisition of STANLEY Infrastructure, a global manufacturer of excavator attachments and handheld hydraulic tools, from Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.
