Guy Edwards, currently CEO of US Aggregate Construction Materials (ACM), has been appointed CEO of Aggregate Industries (AI) in the UK.
He will replace François Petry who has been named country CEO of Lafarge France and market head for France and Belgium.
Edwards has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. During his career, he has held a range of senior roles within Aggregate Industries in the UK and US. In 2013, Edwards served as a UK executive committee member responsible for European operations, in 2014, and was appointed chief operating officer for the AI US business.

Petry has led the UK subsidiary of LafargeHolcim over the last three years.
