CarbonCure Technologies has partnered with Linde, an industrial gas supplier, to introduce its turnkey carbon solution for concrete to 25 countries across Europe, Southeast Asia and Oceania.
CarbonCure’s technology injects a dosage of captured waste carbon dioxide (CO2) into concrete during production. Once introduced, the CO2 chemically converts to a nano-mineral that is expected to reduce the concrete's carbon footprint.
Ulrich Hanke, head of commercial management for primary industries, application technology at Linde, says: “This cooperation will strengthen Linde’s offering for the construction industry.”
Initially, the partners will introduce the technology to Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Singapore.
