Caterpillar has appointed Ogi Redzic vice president to lead the company’s digital enabled solutions division (DESD) from 30 July. He will report to group president of customer & dealer support Bob De Lange.
The division comprises Caterpillar’s data analytics group, the enterprise data hub, equipment management tools, Cat Connect technologies and customer service portals.
Redzic has 20 years experience in delivering digital solutions and was previously senior vice president of connected vehicles and mobility services at Renault Nissan Alliance in Paris.
De Lange says:“Ogi’s global experience, customer focus, deep expertise and leadership skills make him ideally suited to lead our digital solutions group as we continue to expand what we offer customers beyond our traditional products, parts and services.”
Julie Lagacy, vice president who has led the DESD, will continue in her role as vice president of global information services.
