Cemex delivers materials to wind power plant in France

November 26, 2018

Cemex has supplied materials and tailored logistics for the construction of LM Wind Power's main plant in France. The delivery includes technology which is expected to reduce energy generation costs and supply renewable energy to wind farms across Europe.

Cemex supplied a special concrete-mix for the 11.5-hectare plant through 800 mixer trucks. A self-compacting concrete was used for the 20-metre walls of the production building.

Franck Amourette, cluster director Basse-Normandie for Cemex in France, says: “With a considerable extension and featuring the latest technology, this project allowed us to provide all our suite of services: from high-quality products to tailored logistics assessment.”
