CEMEX has announced that it is resuming operations in Mexico. The company is keen to get back to work and help support the country's economy during the COVID-19 crisis.
The building materials company says the move is being made in accordance with the technical guidelines that were published in the official Mexican Gazette on 6 April.
CEMEX adds that it will fully comply with all the measures indicated by the Ministry of Health, as well as other best practices to operate in a safe and responsible environment.
"The health and safety of employees, contractors, suppliers, customers, and communities is a top priority for CEMEX, and the company will continue to enforce its health protocols to maintain a safe and clean working environment," the company said in a statement this week.
