Colombian cement group Cementos Argos says that its business is recovering from the Covid-19 crisis and that the company can see positive signs for the future.
According to Tomás Restrepo, vice president of Cementos Argos in Colombia: “Volumes are recovering in an important way," despite the fact that "during quarantine we closed more than 100 new infrastructure projects.

Cementos Argos delivered to more than 5,300 clients in May. The monthly key statistics for May 2020 show that the company dispatched 57% of its normal volumes and that 88% of the infrastructure projects is supplies were back at work.
44 of the group's 58 Colombian concrete plants are now back in operation.
