Continental has launched two additional EM-Master E4/L4 radial tire sizes, which according to Christian Luther, product line manager earthmoving, completes the company’s range of radial tires for use on wheel loaders and dump trucks particularly for construction work and mining.
The E3/L3, designed for soft ground, comes with normal tread depth and wide spacing between the blocks; while the E4/L4 can operate on hard and stony ground with greater block size and less spacing between the blocks and deeper tread depth.
In addition, the RDT-Master, developed for rigid dump trucks, comes with deep tread design as well as tires which are said to offer high resilience, cut resistance and self-cleaning properties.
The DumperMaster rounds of the range and has an all-steel radial carcass which aims to ensure high load capacity with low heat build-up. It is best suited for transporting ore onto conveyor belt or directly from mines to the surface on dump trucks and can also be used for tunnel construction.
Luther added: “We are also collaborating intensively with our customers to further expand our portfolio to meet their needs and requirements.”
