Cielo Azul Cementos y Calizas has awarded FLSmidth an order for the engineering, procurement and supply of equipment for an energy-efficient cement plant in Uruguay.

The plant will be located near the city of Treinta y Tres, around 300 km from the capital of Uruguay, Montevideo.

The order, worth over $30m, consists of a range of equipment from crushing to packing and a palletizing system.
