LafargeHolcim has appointed Magali Anderson chief sustainability officer of its executive committee, where start helping the company run operations with zero harm from 1 October.
LafargeHolcim CEO Jan Jenisch says the appointment will aid its ambition of “contributing to a built environment that will be carbon neutral, fully recyclable and with a positive environmental impact."
Anderson has international industry experience, acquired in a range of general management, operational and functional roles in countries such as Brazil, Nigeria, Indonesia, Angola, Romania and China. She joined LafargeHolcim in 2016 as head of health & safety.
