Loveland Ready-Mix obtains permit but require regulatory approval

March 23, 2018

The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board has approved Loveland Ready-Mix’s (LRM's) operations permit for the disrupted gravel mine and concrete batch plant proposal, near Larimer County – in a report by Coloroan. Several other regulatory boards including the region’s local commissioners still need to give their approval.

LRM presented plans at a hearing to prevent harmful environmental impacts during and after mining of the site. The opposition stated that the operations will disturb delicate ground water balance in the area.

Over the last 12 months, residents have raised concerns that the facility will increase traffic, dust and noise.

The concrete company is a locally owned business that aims to provide quality concrete in the surrounding North Colorado area. It has worked on commercial jobs such as the Medical Center of the Rockies.
