The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is to host a quarterly stakeholder call on 13 December with a focus on contractor safety.
The MSHA will also focus on components of its powered haulage safety initiative. Specialists will cover training requirements, fatal injury details, best practices for preventing recurrence, lock-out/tag-out blocking against motion, and materials to enhance contractor safety and training.
