The Mine Safety and Health and Administration (MSHA) is hosting a quarterly stakeholder call on the 30 April. The conference will focus on powered haulage safety and focus on vehicle collisions, seat belt usage and working around conveyor belts.
Assistant Secretary David G. Zatezalo will open the call with remarks and will be available for questions at the close.
MSHA’s safety team will describe recent accidents involving problem areas as well as technological solutions that promote safe behaviour.
In addition, the administration will explore some of the feedback it received on powered haulage safety.
