NSSGA welcomes the passage of the water resources development act

June 13, 2018

The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) has welcomed the passage of the water resources development act on 6 June. The legislation will invest $2.7m in US ports, dams, locks and other key water infrastructure projects if passed through the Senate and signed by President Trump.

Laura O’Neill Kaumo, NSSGA senior vice president of government and regulations, says: “We certainly thank Congress for coming together to support our water infrastructure, which is essential to our country’s commerce, safety and health. We look forward to the Senate also passing their WRDA legislation and sending it to President Trump’s desk.”
