Sequatchie Concrete Service is opening a new plant this week on Greenbriar Parkway in Huntsville, Alabama, according to a report by AL.com.
The report says the plant has a production capability to load around 340 yards of ready-mixed concrete per hour and is expected to support local construction and infrastructure projects.
Jesse Slaton, Sequatchie's president, says: “Huntsville’s economic expansion provides us with an exciting opportunity to put our substantial commercial concrete experience to work in our footprint.”
The plant is located nearly a mile away from the construction site of the planned Mazda Toyota factory.
Sequatchie is based in Tennessee has 20 locations across three states along with six ready-mixed concrete plants and two concrete block plants in Alabama.
