An asphalt tank caught fire in Commerce City yesterday - in a report by The Denver Channel. The Adams County Fire Department confirmed it took place at the United Asphalts Plant.
A spokesperson said that the fire started around 11:25 am as the crew tried to heat the tank to get the right consistency.
There were no injuries.
