A Rubble Master mobile crusher has attracted more than just passing interest in its work for one South East Asia-based customer. Guy Woodford reports.

The first mobile 6484 Rubble Master crusher in Gorontalo, in the heart of Indonesia, has been operated by PT. Anugerah Andalan Perkasa since spring 2017. The new RM 70GO! 2.0 replaced several machines at once for the company owned by Stevie Kusumaharja. Instead of using the jaw crusher combined with a cone crusher, the mobile crusher unit is processing in a single pass the extremely hard river basalt needed for road building. As a consequence, the RM 70GO! 2.0 is making a significant contribution to building infrastructure in Indonesia.

“The roads that we build are the best in this area”, says Kusumaharja, proud of the quality of the aggregate products being used in the infrastructure projects that PT. Anugerah Andalan Perkasa is contributing to.

Quality and efficiency are especially important to Kusumaharja and his business partners at at the company, which is why they were searching for a high quality alternative system for processing river basalt. Kusumaharja says he and his colleagues decided to buy the RM 70GO! 2.0 crusher due to its compact dimensions and reliability, along with the high quality final aggregate that PT. Anugerah Andalan Perkasa could produce with the machine. The excellent customer service offered by GMT, Rubble Master’s Indonesian dealership, was another key factor behind the crusher purchase.

Kusumaharja says the RM 70GO! 2.0 is able to handle the extreme conditions encountered while crushing abrasive basalt, while being more effective and more cost-efficient than the previously used combination of jaw crusher and cone crusher. With the RM crusher unit, the company now processes the same volume of 0-63mm river basalt with fewer machines and less wear, saving fuel and producing a higher quality final material.

Not only the new owner, but also the local residents in Gorontalo, were delighted to welcome the new Rubble Master crusher in spring 2017. During an official ceremony attended by more than 100 visitors, the first RM 70GO! 2.0 belonging to this forward-thinking Indonesian company received its blessing.

Thanks to the day in, day out operation of the RM70GO! 2.0 mobile crusher, PT. Anugerah Andalan Perkasa is able to turn extremely hard up to 500mm-sized river basalt material into huge quantities of premium 0-63mm basalt aggregate. This enables the company to deliver 800 tonnes/day to road building projects in North Sulawesi.
