According to EQAR, the event will provide a platform to discuss the state of building materials recycling in Europe along with ways and means to enhance the share of recycling.
EQAR president Manfred Wierichs said that the EU Waste Framework Directive calls for recycling of mineral wastes to reach 70% by 2020 and to accomplish this ambitious target substantial effort will still have to be made.
