CRH sells Benelux DIY business

Irish global building materials group CRH has sold its DIY business, Benelux, and related assets in the Netherlands and Belgium for a total of €510mn.

The DIY business was sold to Intergamma, the Dutch organisation which has been operating it as a franchise. Certain property assets related to the DIY business were sold to US real estate investor WP Carey.
