Last month saw the dedicated team at Garside Sands, based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, truly go the extra mile, cycling the length of John O’Groats to Land’s End to raise money for the A-T Society.

Held on Wednesday 20th September, the team of 25 took to the gruelling relay in order to raise much-needed funds for The A-T Society which supports children and young people living with the disabling, life shortening condition Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T). A cause close to everybody’s heart, the team took up the challenge to support little Daisy Goble, a family friend of one of the team and nearby neighbour, who was sadly diagnosed with A-T at a young age.

A grand total of over £7,000 has been raised so far as a result of the fundraiser against a target of £3,000, all of which will go to the charity.
