LiuGong made a big impression at BICES 2017 – showcasing 29 machines from its extensive portfolio

441 LiuGong made a big impression with its 29 machines at this year’s 14th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (391 BICES 2017). The Chinese construction, quarrying and mining equipment giant’s booth covered 3,480m², with the machines on show representing the largest and most comprehensive assortment exhibited by LiuGong in recent years.

The LiuGong models at BICES 2017 (20-23 September) were from 12 categories, covering applications including mining, road construction, ship trimming and cargo handling, and municipal construction. The 29 machines included loaders, excavators, forklifts, paver, rollers, cranes, aerial platforms, a backhoe loader, a skid steer loader, a bulldozer, a mining dump truck, and crushing and screening equipment. In addition, LiuGong showed an 856H T4F loader and a 936E T4F excavator which meet the highest emission standard in the world.

2018 will be LiuGong’s 60th anniversary and a special area at BICES 2017 celebrated the company’s rich heritage. On the first day of the show, LiuGong held a big 60th anniversary event, introducing a commemorative logo and special anniversary edition machines. The event was attended by leaders of Chinese construction machinery associations, former leaders of LiuGong, current leaders and important customers and guests.

With continuous technological innovation and upgrades, intelligent manufacturing is becoming a major trend and key to the development of equipment manufacturing in the future. Intellectualisation will also create new development opportunities for the engineering machinery industry.  As such, ‘Total Intelligent’ has become one of the important strategic initiatives in the "13th Five-Year" Strategic Planning of LiuGong. At BICES 2017, LiuGong showed its intelligent system on site, which is capable of transmitting operation status of LiuGong equipment in real time, and thereby significantly improving productivity and reduces operation costs.
