447 Powerscreen has restructured its distribution channel in Russia with the appointment of one dealer covering all of the European part of Russia, including Federal Districts 1, 2,3,4 and the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Oblasts.

Powerscreen will now be represented in European Russia by 3735 Kwintmadi, part of the JVM Group, a company with almost 20 years’ experience in the trade and service of heavy equipment for some of the largest brands in the industry.

Conor Hegarty, Powerscreen’s dealer manager for Russia, said: “We fully expect that the appointment of Kwintmadi as the Powerscreen dealer for European Russia will further strengthen our distribution network globally. Entering into a distribution agreement with a company that has Kwintmadi’s experience elevates Powerscreen’s offering in the region to another level.”

Lina Sokolova of Kwintmadi said the company “looks forward to a focused relationship and being able to apply its experience to better serve all Powerscreen customers in the region to help them grow their business as well as Powerscreen’s market share.”

JVM/Kwintmadi has a wide network of trade centres and service depots in all of the largest cities in European Russia.

According to 2011’s Rosstat report, 2009 production of ferroconcrete structures, sand, crushed stone, gravel and wall building materials in Russia went down by 35-40% year on year, but in 2010, production resumed growth.

3736 RBC Market Research has reported that the Russian market has overcome the economic crisis and has demonstrated growth in the majority of key indicators for 2010 and 2011. With business confidence having been restored, Russia is now one of the fastest growing countries in the world in terms of both infrastructure and economic development.

The first machine sold by Kwintmadi is a Powerscreen Chieftain 1400 which has been delivered to the customer and is working on a site producing sand and gravel. Kwintmadi has placed stocking orders for a robust inventory which includes products from across the full range of crushing, screening and washing equipment.
