Ritchie Bros. UK closes out fantastic November auction month & looks forward to final 2024 event

Ritchie Bros. UK has announced "outstanding" results from its recent November auctions. The company's Maltby Online Auction on 6 & 7 November and the online Plantforce Fleet Renewal Auction held on 20 November showcased its ability to maximise engagement and deliver solid results for its clients, both buyers and sellers.

The Maltby 6 & 7 November auction featured an impressive array of heavy machinery, including telehandlers, dumpers, excavators and more. The auction successfully sold 1,181 lots and attracted 330 buyers from 32 countries worldwide. 1,270 people registered to bid for this auction, marking an 8% increase compared to the same period last year.

 

Even more notable was the Plantforce Fleet Renewal Auction, held on November 20th from Maltby. Plantforce renewed its rental fleet and has teamed up with Ritchie Bros. UK to sell its current fleet. On 20 November, Ritchie Bros. has sold 160 pieces of machinery from Plantforce giving buyers the unique opportunity to purchase high-quality machines from one of the UK's leading plant hire companies.

Diverse Participation: 467 bidders from 38 countries registered for the auction, with significant contributions from UK, Ireland, Poland, Spain & USA. The growing international interest underscores Ritchie Bros.' status as a global leader in the heavy equipment marketplace.

 

Top-Selling Items: Among the top selling categories were wheel loaders, excavators, rollers & screening equipment, showcasing the range of high-quality assets available to buyers. These items not only highlight the strong demand for premium machinery in the market.

 

  • 2018 Terex/Finlay 683 Supertrak Tracked Incline Screen Plant: sold for £105,000 to a UK buyer
  • 2018 Kobelco SK500LC-10 Hydraulic Excavator: sold for £86,000 to an Irish buyer
  • 2018 Hydrema 922F Articulated Dump Truck: sold for £69,000 to Spanish buyer
  • 2017 Komatsu D37PX-24 Crawler Dozer: sold for £62,000 to Spanish buyer
  • 2018 Hyundai KL970 Wheeled Loader: sold for £50,000 to Belgian buyer
