Smico/Symons Screens, now based near Oklahoma City, USA, has moved into a new, state-of-the-art office and manufacturing facility that it says will improve manufacturing efficiency, shorten lead times, improve test lab capabilities and parts delivery and make room for expected company growth in 2013 and beyond.

For more than 75 years, Smico/Symons Screens has specialised in fabricating custom screens, feeders, conveyors, wear parts and other processing equipment around the individual application and specification requirements of its customers, focusing more than 75% of its business on customisation.

The company is using the larger 4,180m² facility to house innovative new equipment that, it says improves production speed by more than 50% on average.
In addition, the company plans to expand to another shift next year and further increase the facility size in the foreseeable future on its campus.
