Following a €9million investment in new aggregate processing plant at the site to increase automation and reduce dust and noise,
The upgraded dolomite quarry in south west France was reopened in November last year and has now gained this new standard which demonstrates the site’s sustainable development and environmental efforts.
The quarry, which produces 500,000tonnes per year of aggregates, hosted a special event to mark the achievement and local politicians and businesses were invited to a tour of the site.
