St Petersburg concrete use 2.6mn tonnes in H1

According to LSR Group estimates, concrete consumption reached about 2.6 million m³ in St Petersburg and the Leningrad regions of Russia in the first half of 2012. Over 60 commercial concrete producers are present in the local market, with the 20 biggest capturing 80% of the market. The Top 20 include LSR Aggregates and Ready-mix Concrete North-West; Beaton; TKS Beton; Lenstroydetal; Betonika and Prommonolit.

According to 3777 LSR Group estimates, concrete consumption reached about 2.6 million m³ in St Petersburg and the Leningrad regions of Russia in the first half of 2012.

Over 60 commercial concrete producers are present in the local market, with the 20 biggest capturing 80% of the market.

The Top 20 include LSR Aggregates and Ready-mix Concrete North-West; Beaton; TKS Beton; Lenstroydetal; Betonika and Prommonolit.

The largest cement manufacturers are Pikalevsky Cement plant and LSR Cement (over 1.5 million tonnes/year).
