Tarmac has won a major UK environmental award in recognition of its recycling process that reduces the amount of new aggregates used in road construction.

A team from Tarmac received the Environmental Best Practice Award at the annual Considerate Constructors Scheme’s 2019 National Ultra Site awards.

The Environmental Best Practice award was given for the innovative way Tarmac recycles hazardous road surfacing materials which contain tar.
