US manufacturer Superior Industries is expanding its partnership with aggregates and construction conveying equipment dealer Power Equipment Company.

The organisers of the Hillhead Quarry Exhibition, The QMJ Group, have announce the dates for the 2020 event.

The biennial showcase for the quarrying and construction industry will take place from 23–25 June 2020 at Hillhead Quarry, near Buxton, Derbyshire, England.

The QMJ Group says the 2020 event follows a record-breaking show in 2018 which featured 546 exhibitors and an ABC-audited attendance of 19,753.

The 2018 version of Doosan’s Quarry Days event in the Czech Republic saw a record attendance of around 380 customers and dealers from around Europe.

Held over three days from 17-19 September, this year‘s Quarry Days took place in the Belice Quarry near Prague with more than 25 machines available to try out.

Production flows at Angle Park Sand & Gravel's Mountcastle pit have been assisted with the recent arrival of a 25-tonne Volvo L150H loading shovel.

Angle Park Sand & Gravel is an independent Scottish family-run business set up in 1961 by founder Frank Cuthbert that operates two sand and gravel pits - Mountcastle and Melville Gates - close to Ladybank, Cupar, in the Howe of Fife.

US-based Superior Systems, which manufactures and supplies bulk material processing and handling systems, has added Phil Garinger to its Canadian sales team.

Stefan Heissler has stepped down as a member of the board of directors of Liebherr-International for personal reasons.

The Swiss-based construction and mining equipment manufacturer says that Heissler has also left the Liebherr Group.
